Z. H. Sikder University of Science and Technology (ZHSUST) successfully hosted the “A World of Opportunities – Study Abroad” workshop on January 9, 2025, designed to inspire students to pursue international education and global career opportunities.
Organized by the International Students Association of Shariatpur in collaboration with the ZHSUST Career and Skill Development Committee, the workshop featured expert speakers, including faculty members and alumni, who shared valuable advice on navigating the path to studying abroad. Dr. Md. Mahmud Alam, Dr. Muhd. Mustafizur Rahman, and Md. Shahidur Rahman Khan, Deans from various faculties at ZHSUST were present as the special guests.
Guest speakers, including Md. Hafizur Rahman, Md. Imamunur Rahman, Md. Jahirul Islam, Muhid Hassan, and Md. Alamin Howlader, provided insights on scholarships, applications, and succeeding in diverse academic environments.
The event was moderated by Sonet Kumar Saha, Assistant Professor at ZHSUST, with a Quiz Session coordinated by K M Nihal, Vice President of Dhaka City College Debate Club. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment.
The workshop was hosted by K M Dhrubo, Convenor of the Event Organizing Committee, International Students Association of Shariatpur.
