Police have found the hanging body of Al-Amin, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Jajira Police Station in Shariatpur. He was found hanging by towel in his room of the police station at around 1 pm on Thursday.Later on,Police recovered the deceased. Shariatpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Nazrul Islam told Business Mirror that Al-Amin committed suicide.
OC Al-Amin joined Jajira Police Station as OC on September 14.Getting the information, Deputy Commissioner Ashraf Uddin and SP Nazrul Islam went to the spot.Shariatpur Police Hospital’s doctor Monirul Islam said that OC Al-Amin had a towel wrapped around his neck.Any injury marks were not found on his body. Initially it seemed a suicide.”
The SP of Shariatpur told to Business Mirror that after 3 pm Al-Amin’s body will be taken down after arrival of the forensic team from Dhaka. Afterthat the body will be sent to the hospital for autopsy. Mystery is flying over Jajira and the deceased’s own district Barisal over the Suicide.
